@Research objectives of this laboratory is to devise and develop new biomedical sensors and instrumentation and control techniques using electronic and mechanical engineering technologies, and to analyse physiological functions, particularly on the adaptive control and autonomous decentralised mechanisms of biological systems. The laboratory research emphases are biocompatible in-vivo sensors, non-invasive, ambulatory and non-conscious physiological measurements, home health monitoring, biomechatronics inclusive of human support system and vascular endoscope for surgical operation within vessel, autonomic regulation analyses, and so on, contributing these research results to the fields of basic and clinical medicine, rehabilitation engineering, and health care science.
